Chocolate Espresso Mousse Shots Recipe

Ingredients for chocolate mousse shots

My daughter and wife both love chocolate. I love coffee so it was a natural progression to make a dessert we could all enjoy that included ingredients we all love. Makes sense right. Should be easy chocolate, espresso, a little fat-free milk and well just because you have the ingredients doesn't mean it comes out just right. This should have been an easy win for me in the kitchen but the first few times I rushed things a bit and well the mousse did not turn out as expected. Lesson learned slow down and take your time.

So after some trial and error and lots of taste testing 🙂 I have come up with a recipe that is sure to leave a smile on your face and satisfied “ahhs” from your family. A bonus is they are only 3 points each on the new myWW plans. Once you try these little shots of pure chocolate pleasure you will want to make them at least three times a week 🙂 I am glad they make 16 at a time so my family can come and get one when they want.

How long can you keep chocolate mousse?

You can keep the mousse for 4-5 days. To keep chocolate mousse, it will need to be kept cold in the fridge. Cover the mousse with plastic wrap and keep in the fridge until ready to eat. When you are ready fold in the whipped topping, garnish with cookie crumbles, and enjoy.

We love the new myWW plans and the variety they offer. We all lose weight differently but we can all benefit from the lessons and the plans they have put out. I love that they continue to grow and change as information about how we lose weight and maintain our health becomes available. I think it is important to continue to grow and branch out. The better the information the better the results.

Smiley Points is changing

The message – While we have always intended our message to be about body positivity, we aren't sure we've conveyed that very well.

Moving forward, this message will be our #1 priority: wellness, health, fitness, and strength are all so much more important than fitting into a mold. We are men and women of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. It's about time we start celebrating our diversity!

Instead of constantly worrying about the number on the scale, we have found peace in measuring non-scale victories instead. While we still weigh in to hold ourselves accountable, we don't attach that number to feelings or self-worth. We don't attach that number to success or failure.
